Church, we have stepped into a new quarter, and God has given us one word for this season: Multiply. This quarter we are learning that Kingdom wealth is not just what we possess. It is what we release, steward, and multiply for the glory of God. And this month, October, God is teaching us how to Pour.

But before anyone can pour, someone must first receive. And the Bible shows us that receiving begins with honor. When Elisha followed Elijah, he was not chasing a title. He was honoring a mantle. He refused to leave his spiritual father's side, and when the moment came, he asked for a double portion. Elisha received because Elisha honored.

Honor opens heaven. When we honor the spiritual authority God has placed over this house, when we honor the sacrifices of those who came before us, when we honor one another, we create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is welcome to move. Dishonor closes doors that prayer alone cannot reopen. But honor positions us to receive everything God wants to pour out.

So this week, ask yourself: Who has God placed in my life to honor? Have I valued the mantle on this house? Have I treated the anointing casually, or have I treasured it?

Here is your challenge this week: honor somebody on purpose. Thank a leader. Bless someone who poured into you. Because when honor goes up, impartation comes down. Honor opens heaven.

Last week we learned that honor opens heaven. Elisha honored the mantle, and he received it. But receiving a mantle is only the beginning. The real question is this: can you carry it well?

Peter tells us, "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God" (1 Peter 4:10). Every believer in this room has an assignment. Every one of us carries something from God. The anointing is not reserved for the platform. It rests on mothers and fathers, on students and workers, on everyone who belongs to Jesus.

But a mantle is not a trophy. It is a trust. And God is looking for people who will carry His anointing with humility, integrity, and faithfulness. Humility says, "This is not about me." Integrity says, "I will be the same person in private that I am in public." Faithfulness says, "I will keep showing up, even when nobody is watching."

In this Faith Shift season, God is not just asking what we have. He is asking how we carry it. Because what we carry well, He multiplies. What we handle carelessly, we lose.

So this week, carry your assignment like it matters, because it does. Here is your challenge: identify one gift God has given you and put it to work in His house this week. You are not just holding a mantle. You are carrying His presence. Carry it well.

For two weeks we have talked about receiving the mantle and carrying it well. But church, hear this: the oil was never meant to remain in the vessel.

Remember the widow in 2 Kings 4. She had one jar of oil and a mountain of debt. The prophet told her to gather empty vessels, and as she poured, the oil kept flowing. The miracle was not in the storing. The miracle was in the pouring. The oil only stopped when there were no more vessels to fill.

That is a picture of your life. God has anointed you, not so you can admire the oil, but so you can release it. His power, His healing, His wisdom, His love, all of it is meant to flow through you into empty vessels: the coworker who is hurting, the neighbor who is lost, the family member who needs hope.

Some of us have been praying, "Lord, fill me again," while the last filling is still sitting in the jar. Fresh oil comes to flowing vessels. When you pour out, God pours in.

So this week, find an empty vessel. Pray for someone. Encourage someone. Serve someone. Give to someone. And watch what God does with a life that refuses to hold the oil in. Here is your challenge: pour into at least one person this week and expect the oil to flow. The anointing on your life is not for storage. It is for release.

This month we have honored the mantle, carried it well, and released the oil. Now God brings us to the mark of maturity: moving from receiving to pouring.

Paul told Timothy, "And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also" (2 Timothy 2:2). Do you see the multiplication in that verse? Paul poured into Timothy. Timothy poured into faithful men. Those men poured into others. Four generations of pouring in one sentence.

That is what this quarter's theme, Multiply, looks like in real life. A baby only receives. But a mature believer reproduces. You were never meant to be the last stop for what God gave you. Someone poured into you, prayed for you, discipled you, believed in you. Now it is your turn.

Look around this house. There is a next generation waiting for what you carry. There are new believers who need what you have learned. There are young people who need your time more than your opinion.

So here is the challenge as we close this month: choose one person and begin to pour into them intentionally. Disciple them. Mentor them. Pray with them. Because the greatest evidence that you have truly received is that you have started to pour. We are not a reservoir. We are a river. From receiving to pouring, in Jesus' name.

Last month God taught us to pour. We honored the mantle, received fresh oil, and learned that the anointing was never meant to stay in the vessel. Now, in this month of Serve Forward, God shows us where the oil is supposed to go: into our city.

Jesus told His disciples, "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me" (Acts 1:8). Notice the order. First the power, then the sending. The filling of October was preparation for the mission of November.

Church, we have to settle this in our hearts: the Church was never meant to be a fortress we hide in. It is a lighthouse we shine from. Every believer in this room is a sent one. When you walk into your workplace on Monday, you are sent. When you sit in that classroom, you are sent. When you stand in your kitchen, in your neighborhood, in the grocery store line, you are sent.

Our city does not need more spectators. It needs witnesses. People who carry hope into dark places, healing into broken places, and the presence of Jesus into forgotten places.

So this week, change the way you leave this building. Do not just go home. Go sent. Here is your challenge: every morning this week, before you walk out your door, pray five words: "Lord, I am sent today." Then watch how differently you see the people around you. We are not just attending church. We are the Church, and we are sent.

Last week we discovered that we are sent. But sent to do what? This week the answer becomes clear: we are sent to love, and love is only real when it acts.

Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16). Did you catch that? People cannot see your beliefs. They cannot see your doctrine. But they can see your good works. Serving is the visible expression of God's invisible love.

Think about how Jesus moved through cities. He did not just preach to them. He touched lepers. He fed crowds. He washed feet. The Son of God tied a towel around His waist, because love always finds something to do with its hands.

Somebody in your world this week is praying a prayer that you are the answer to. A meal for a tired family. A visit to someone lonely. Help for a single parent. A patient ear for a struggling coworker. These are not small things. In the Kingdom, these are the things that make cities look up and glorify our Father in heaven.

So here is your challenge this week: perform one intentional, unexpected act of kindness for someone outside your circle, and do it in the name of Jesus, whether you say His name out loud or not. Let them see the light. Love is not what we feel. Love is what we do.

We are sent, and we are sent to love in action. But here is where many churches stall: we start believing that mission belongs to the professionals. The pastors. The staff. The extra-spiritual few. This week God dismantles that lie.

Paul writes, "Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually" (1 Corinthians 12:27). The body does not work if only the mouth shows up. Every joint supplies. Every part matters. In God's design there are no spectators, no bench, and no bystanders. There is only the Body, and you are in it.

You carry influence that no one else in this church carries. There are people who will never hear your pastor preach, but they will watch your life every single day. Your job site is your mission field. Your school is your mission field. Your family table is your mission field.

Some of you have been waiting for a title before you serve. Heaven already gave you one: witness. Some of you have been waiting to feel qualified. God is not looking for ability. He is looking for availability.

So this week, stop asking, "Does the church have a place for me?" and start asking, "Lord, where is my post?" Here is your challenge: name your mission field out loud this week, the specific place and people God has assigned to you, and begin praying for them by name. Every member on mission. No exceptions. That includes you.

This month we have learned that we are sent, that love acts, and that every member is on mission. Now God brings it all together with one final word: together.

One candle brightens a room. A thousand candles change a city skyline. Isaiah paints the picture: "If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness... you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In" (Isaiah 58:10-12). That is not a promise to one hero. That is a promise to a people.

When the Church serves scattered, we make moments. When the Church serves together, we make movements. Communities do not experience lasting change because one person did something great. They change because a whole family of believers kept showing up, week after week, house after house, need after need, until hope became normal on their streets.

God has positioned this church in this city on purpose. The neighborhoods around us are not our backdrop. They are our assignment. And the world will know we are His disciples by our love, love they can see, touch, and taste.

So here is the challenge as we close this month: link arms. Join a serve team. Adopt a need with your small group or your family. Do not just serve forward alone; serve forward together. Because when we pour together, the city shifts. And the city will experience God's love through His people. Together, we shift the city.

Church, we have arrived at the final month of Faith Shift 2026, and God has one more word for us: Shift Forward. This quarter we learned to pour, we learned to serve forward, and now we learn to advance the assignment. But before we can advance into anything new, we have to finish what is in our hands.

Paul wrote, "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6). Our God is a finisher. Jesus did not say, "I gave it a good try." He said, "It is finished" (John 19:30). And the God who finishes lives inside of you.

December is famous for coasting. The world slows down, checks out, and says, "We'll deal with it in January." But the Kingdom does not coast. Somewhere in your life there is an assignment God gave you this year: a commitment, a project, a relationship to mend, a promise you made to Him. Do not drag it into next year unfinished.

Finishing strong is not about perfection. It is about faithfulness. It is choosing excellence when it would be easier to shrug. It is showing up in December with the same fire you had in January.

So here is your challenge this week: name one unfinished assignment from this year and take a concrete step to complete it before December 31. Because the way you finish this season determines the way you enter the next. Church, we do not fade. We finish strong.

Last week we committed to finish strong. This week, before we take another step forward, God asks us to stop and look back, not in regret, but in remembrance.

David said, "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits" (Psalm 103:2). Notice that forgetting is the default. Remembering takes intention. That is why Israel built altars and kept feasts. God knows that a people who forget His faithfulness will doubt His future.

So look back at this year. Think about January, when some of you did not know how you were going to make it. Think about the prayers He answered, the doors He opened, the storms He carried you through, the provision that showed up right on time. Some things you asked for, He gave. Some things you feared, He blocked. And some things He did quietly that you have not even noticed yet.

In this season when the world celebrates, let the Church out-celebrate them, because we actually have Someone to thank. Gratitude is not just good manners. Gratitude is spiritual warfare. A thankful heart has no room for despair.

Here is your challenge this week: write down ten specific things God did for you in 2026, and share at least one of them out loud with someone this week. Build your altar. Tell your testimony. Because the God who was faithful all year long is already waiting for you in the new year. Forget not His benefits.

We are finishing strong and remembering His faithfulness. Now God turns our faces toward the horizon, because in the Kingdom, every ending is really a beginning in disguise.

God says through Isaiah, "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?" (Isaiah 43:18-19). Last week we remembered His faithfulness. This week He tells us to release our grip on the past, both the failures that condemn us and the successes that tempt us to camp out. God is not finished with you. He is repositioning you.

Preparation is the difference between people who stumble into a new year and people who step into a new assignment. Before David faced Goliath, he was faithful with sheep. Before Joshua crossed the Jordan, he consecrated the people. Elevation always follows preparation.

So what is God preparing you for? Maybe a new level of leadership. A new venture. A restored family. A deeper walk with Him. You may not see the whole picture, but you can prepare the soil: get in the Word, get in prayer, get planted in the house, and deal with anything that would disqualify you from carrying more.

Here is your challenge this week: ask God one question in prayer, "Lord, what are You preparing me for?" and write down what He puts in your heart. Then start preparing like it is coming, because it is. God is positioning us for greater impact. Get ready.

This is it, church. The final Sunday of Faith Shift 2026. We have poured, we have served forward, we have finished strong, remembered His faithfulness, and prepared for what is next. Now there is only one thing left to do: advance.

Paul said, "Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:13-14). Look at those words: reaching, pressing, advancing. Paul did not drift into his future. He pressed into it.

This whole year, God has been shifting our faith: in His Word, in our worship, in our work, and in our wealth. Not so we could stay the same, but so we could multiply. Everything He deposited in us this year was seed for next year's harvest.

So we do not cross into the new year timid. We cross over like Joshua's generation, with the promise ringing in our ears: "Be strong and of good courage... for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). We move forward with confidence, expectation, and unwavering faith.

Here is your final challenge of the year: step into January with one bold, written faith goal, something only God can do, and pursue it with everything in you. The shift is not ending. The shift is advancing. The best is still ahead, and we advance in faith. In Jesus' name.
